Weekend Video: Brands Betting BIG at Vegas With SkyVue

For this weekend’s video I came across a very interesting project coming soon to one of my favorite cities of the world. Over the last 20 years the city of Las Vegas and its strip has seen a transformation like no other city in the US. The Strip becoming the one-stop destination for fine dining, the hottest clubs and nightlife, upscale shopping, and all inside of 4 diamond resorts.  As the local economy begins its recovery, a new attraction is being built that will have brands and advertisers alike betting on its success. SkyVue will be a 500 ft observation tower with its center being the largest  outdoor advertising LED screen in the world. SkyVue will illuminate the strip with 130,000 sq. ft. of exterior HD-LED signage.

Brands will be able share out their messages like never before to a city that has over 40 million visitors a year and airline traffic of 37 million passengers. I think this is a great step forward to the strip adding more high-tech and visual appeal to the ever-growing city. Like the video mentions, worldwide events will now have a centralized location for its festivities such as 4th of July celebrations and New Year’s eve.
